Based on a sheer drop to the sea, from June to September, Hotel Club San Diego compound offers you beach service at a courtesy private beach establishment, on a mixed sand and gravel beach (Luppa beach), connected with a non-stop shuttle and far about 1000 m.
For those who love enjoying Uncontaminated Nature in total relax and Privacy, placed inside the Park under the Marine Pools, reachable through a path and a flight of steps, there are “Terraces of Myrtle” (look at the picture) over the plain cliff which allow access to sea to skilled swimmers, it is also the ideal place for those who love fishing and the luxuriant nature of Maratea, where you may enjoy amazing sunsets in the total silence of the protected area S.I.C., which includes the park.

Alternatively, at 400 m. from the hotel there is a natural recess of sand and gravel (Porticello beach) reachable on foot through crow-steps and a steep path. For those who like looking for uncontaminated corners, the recess named ‘Grutta d’a scala’ (Cave of the staircase) also reachable on foot through a slightly steep slope formed from stone steps which start from the ‘Sombrero’ Kiosk.
Apart from the above mentioned beaches, there are many other possibilities to visit other small natural recesses all around the hotel and along the amazing coast of Maratea, some of which may be reached only by sea.

Once a week, the entertainment staff offer customers, a boat tour along the coast, including sea bathing in the striking and uncontaminated small beaches and visit to the particular caves.
