HOW TO GET HERE
By car:
- (from North) Take the freeway Autostrada A3 SA-RC and leave it at the exit of Lagonegro Nord on the state highway S.S. 585 Fondo Valle del Noce, leave it at the exit of Maratea-Castrocucco S.S. 18 and proceed along the coast to Acquafredda of Maratea;
- (alternatively) On the freeway leave it at the exit A3 SA-RC Padula Buonabitacolo, take the highway to Policastro Bussentino, follow the traffic signals for Sapri and take the trunk road Nazionale 18 to Maratea;
- (from South) On the freeway leave it at the exit A3 SA-RC Lauria Sud, S.S. 585 Fondo Valle del Noce, then leave it at exit Maratea-Castrocucco state highway S.S.18 and proceeds along the coast (direction towards Sapri) to Maratea.
By train:
- A good train service links Acquafredda to both Rome and Naples with trains usually going to the region of Calabria or Sicily. The nearest station is Sapri (about 8 km away).
By plane:
The nearest airports to Acquafredda are:
- (from North) Naples Capodichino airport, 200 km;
- (from South) Lamezia Terme airport (CZ), 152 km.
